In an effort to better serve the residents of Edmond, Francis Tuttle Technology Center embarked to build a 155,000 square foot state of the art facility.  Programs including entrepreneurship, pre-nursing, cosmetology, automotive service technology, and interactive media are available for students.

Working with Francis Tuttle, Video Reality quickly learned one of the largest themes for the expansive facility was collaboration.  The ability for students and educators to collaborate, problem solve, and generate ideas was a focal point.  Video Reality designed systems to seamlessly integrate all these spaces under one easy to manage umbrella by leveraging audio and video over the network (AV over IP) with Crestron NVX and QSC Q-Sys allowing for complete flexibility.

Each classroom is equipped with SMART Technologies interactive flat panels, network AV encoder/decoder, audio, and a touch panel.  All audio and video is routed to a centralized processor and returned to the room to achieve the very best experience. This allows for paging announcements and administrators to distribute video for mass notifications.

Design Thinking Studios are new classrooms that specialize in collaboration with the large interactive 86” SMARTBoard displays and include near-invisible Shure beam forming mic arrays.  Motorized Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras capture the entire room or just a single individual from the touch panel control.  Here, participants can easily engage with remote sites via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or any other soft-codec desired.

A large, divisible 3 room combine/divide space is equipped to host a variety of events.  Audio and video systems are automatically reconfigured depending on the state of the retractable walls.  From meeting with a large dais to small breakout sessions, the audio and video is designed to support any size event.  Auto tracking cameras create a high level of engagement for remote participants of meetings. Beam forming mic arrays allow audio from any location in room to be heard clearly.  Desktop, laptop, and Blu-ray inputs round out the multi-purpose rooms.

At the heart of the facility is the rotunda.  Eleven NEC displays allow for content to be seen from anywhere in the two-story rotunda.  Pendant speakers provide audio reinforcement for the area. Users can connect via the local HDMI floorplate or wirelessly through Crestron AirMedia.
